C2 splines covering polar configurations

► A polar configuration is a triangle fan within a quad-dominant mesh. ► It occurs naturally where many parameter lines join. ► We construct a single degree-(3, 6) spline that caps a given polar configuration. ► This C2 polar spline joins C2 with surrounding bicubic splines.
