A C2 trivariate macro-element based on the Clough-Tocher-split of a tetrahedron

A C2 trivariate macro-element is constructed based on the Clough-Tocher-split of a tetrahedron into four subtetrahedra. The element uses supersplines of degree 13, and provides optimal order approximation of smooth functions.
