High-level application development for non-computer science majors using image processing

► We use image processing for assignments of an introductory programming course that uses Java. ► Programming course consists of mainly information systems students, undergraduates and graduates. ► Students progressively build a single application with a GUI that supports most image formats. ► Our approach can be modified for CS1/2 type traditional programming courses.
