Legal risk management for the IT industry

This article reviews the current status of IT Legal Risk Management as an approach to providing legal services strategically in the business context. The major ways of managing legal risk are through contracts, procedures and dispute management, together with information and document management, including regulatory compliance. Methodologies have not yet reached any level of sophistication and have not been generally adopted.
