A two-dimensional adaptive nodes technique in irregular regions applied to meshless-type methods

► We present an adaptive nodes technique for an irregular and two-dimensional domain. ► The proposed method is based on equi-distribution and dimension reduction. ► We examine the adaptive points produced by the collocation meshless method. ► Since the connectivity of the mesh is not important, it is suitable for the meshless method. ► We observe the effectiveness of the adaptive mesh generated in the collocation method.
