The development of a quantitative flexibility test for body armour and comparison with wearer trials

It was shown that the mechanical flexibility test produced results which were in good agreement with a purely subjective flexibility assessment. These results in turn showed reasonable but not exact correlation with the wearer trials. The ISO wearer trials addressed other factors such as overall comfort and fit of the systems and so the results were not purely a function of flexibility.
