Algorithmic detection of the beginning and end of bipolar electrograms: Implications for novel methods to assess local activation time during atrial tachycardia

► We developed a novel algorithm to detect the beginning and the end of the activation complex in bipolar electrograms. ► We introduce new methods to assess local activation time of bipolar and unipolar electrograms based upon the proposed algorithm. ► The novel methods can be used to guide catheter ablation procedures of atrial tachycardia.
