Citation-related reliability analysis for a pilot sample of underground coal mines

▶ Developed a straight-forward and easily adoptable citation-related reliability tool. ▶ A reliability analysis was developed to examine the compliance of underground coal mines with mine safety standards. ▶ The value of the methodology was examined using a stratified random sample of 31 mines. ▶ Compliance differences were identified among different size mines. ▶ Relative to safety compliance, the methodology discriminates poor-performing underground coal mines from good-performing ones.
