Synthesis of zeolite-casted microporous carbons and their hydrogen storage capacity

► Zeolite-casted microporous carbon (ZMiPC) was synthesized using a templating method. ► BET surface area and micropore pore volume of ZMiPC were higher than that of zeolite. ► A-ZMiPC showed a higher H2 adsorption capacity (about 1.4 times) than B-ZMiPC. ► This was due to charge-induced dipole interaction.
