Direct synthesis of hierarchical LTA zeolite via a low crystallization and growth rate technique in presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide

► Micro-mesoporous Na-A zeolite synthesized in a new approach using CTAB. ► Mesoporosity formed from interstitial voids between aggregated nanocrystallites. ► Mesopore size controlled by n-dodecane inclusion. ► Aging period and CTAB concentration significantly affects pore size distribution. ► New material showed higher ethylene adsorption than conventional Na-A zeolite.
