Tri-isocyanate reinforced graphene aerogel and its use for crude oil adsorption

► The synthesis of tri-isocyanate reinforced graphene aerogel was reported. ► The reinforced aerogel had high compressive failure strength (0.24 MPa). ► The obtained aerogel showed good adsorption ability towards crude oil (∼169 mg/g).
