Facile synthesis and photocatalytic properties of AgAgClTiO2/rectorite composite

► AgAgClTiO2/rectorite composite was prepared by a deposition-photoreduction method. ► The composite exhibited excellent visible light photocatalytic activity. ► h+ and O2- were considered the major reactive species in the photocatalytic process.
