Adsorption-stress relationship in drying of silica/PVA suspensions

► We study the stress development for silica/PVA suspensions. ► Scaled relationship between polymer adsorption and film stress is found. ► Film structure also has a similar trend with adsorption. ► These relations enable to control the film performance by polymer adsorption.
