Self-correction phase unwrapping method based on Gray-code light

► A self-correction phase unwrapping method on Gray-code light is proposed to resolve the difficult problem of phase unwrapping. ► No extra fringe pattern needs compared with traditional method. ► This method can also yield reliable unwrapped phase for 3-D shape measurement in the experiment.
