Electrocatalytic oxidation of thiourea on graphene nanosheets-Ag nanoparticles hybrid ionic liquid electrode

- Graphene nanosheets-Ag nanoparticles hybrid ionic liquid electrode was used as thiourea (TU) sensor.
- Sensitive determination of TU as a serious environmental pollutant was accomplished.
- The oxidation potential of TU was much less than those of the previously reported works.
- Satisfactory results were obtained for determination of TU in wastewater and orange juice samples.
