Determination of the flow curve at high strain rates using electromagnetic punch stretching

► A simple new method is proposed to determine the flow curve at high strain rates. ► This method could be applied to tension or compression process. ► This method is free of restriction of strain rate range. ► The determined flow curve can be used to simulate the forming process directly. ► The deviation from simulation and experiment result is less than 6.74%.
