A smarter brain is associated with stronger neural interaction in healthy young females: A resting EEG coherence study

► We investigate the g factor of intelligence from neurobiological perspective. ► Commonality & uniqueness analyses are used to examine EEG coherence and IQ subtests. ► Enhanced neural interaction is associated with increased general intelligence. ► Connectivity strength of global neural interaction could be a candidate of g factor.
