Performance evaluation and emission characterisation of three kerosene stoves using a Heterogeneous Stove Testing Protocol (HTP)

► Three kerosene stoves were tested for performance and CO emissions using the HTP. ► Pot size did not affect selected stove performance. ► Firepower setting affected tested stove performance. ► Pressurised stove gave lower CO gas emissions compared with the wick stoves. ► HTP is robust in assessing overall performance over a range of operating conditions.
