Two photoluminescent coordination polymers based on naphthalene-1,4,5,8-tetracarboxylic acid 4,5-anhydride

Two cadmium(II)-naphthalenetetracarboxylate coordination polymers possessing a neutral comb-like chain or an interesting baluster structure were synthesized via hydrothermal method. Photoluminescent investigations reveal that both compounds exhibit strong emissions in the solid state.
