New crystalline framework formed from a podal ligand with S2O2 donor and CuI: non-interpenetrating square-grid with cubane-like Cu4I4 cluster nodes

Structure and photoluminescence properties of a square-grid coordination polymer based on 1,12-diphenyl-5,8-dioxa-2,11-dithiadodecane, C20H26O2S2 and cubane-like Cu4I4 clusters have been investigated.
