Synthesis and characterization of photolabeling probes of miltefosine

Probes with the photoactivatable tetrafluorophenylazido group either at the polar head or in the alkyl chain of miltefosine were synthesized for studying the mechanisms underlying the biological effects of miltefosine using a photolabeling approach.
