Fluorescent sensors for amino acid anions based on calix[4]arenes bearing two dansyl groups

Two novel chiral fluorescence calix[4]arene derivatives containing hydrazide and dansyl groups were synthesized. The receptors exhibit good chiral recognition ability toward the enantiomers of amino acid anions.
