Deconvolution of vibroacoustic images using a simulation model based on a three dimensional point spread function

► The long depth-of-field in vibro-acoustography makes unfeasible images in depth. ► Restoration algorithms are applied to vibro-acoustography images for the first time. ► The filters achieve very good results when applied to simulated images. ► Results with experimental images show a high capacity of information retrieval.
