A high-precision angular control system for HIFU calibration

► We designed a high precision angular alignment system with a proper protocol for ultrasound field measurement. ► We examined the performance of the proposed design and compared it with that of commercial equipment. ► The obtained accuracy of alignment error with the proposed system was less than 0.01 radian.
