Nanocrystalline gadolinium iron garnet for circulator applications

► GdIG ferrites were synthesized using the microwave hydrothermal method. ► Densification of the GdIG samples was done at a low temperature of 1100 °C/45 min. ► Our samples possess low dielectric constant and loss at a Ka band frequency. ► Nanocrystalline GdIG samples for circulator application have been tested.
