Spin frustration-related behavior of mixed spin diamond chain

► We study the magnetization of mixed spin-1/2, 1 Ising diamond chain. ► Multiple plateaus are obtained with different antiferromagnetic interactions. ► The micro-architecture of the system reveals that the magnetic plateaus exist. ► The dimmer and trimmer states exist in this frustrated model.
