Suppression of the low-temperature phase-separated state under pressure in (Eu1−xGdx)0.6Sr0.4MnO3 (x=0,0.1)

► Phase separated manganite exhibits the low-temperature step-like metamagnetic transition. ► The low-temperature phase separated state is characterized by a suppressed magnetization. ► The applied pressure collapses the phase separated state, giving a ferromagnetic transition. ► The step-like magnetic transition accompanies its associated magnetostriction jump.
