Pulse electrodeposition of Co1−xZnx nanowire arrays: Magnetic improvement through electrolyte concentration, off-time between pulses and annealing

► Crystallinity of CoZn nanowires improved with increase in off-time. ► Zn content of CoZn nanowires changes with off-times between pulses. ► Three times increase in magnetization of the annealed CoZn nanowires. ► Separate Co and Zn hcp phases were found for the samples with high Zn content.
