Magnetic, magnetoelectric and dielectric behavior of CoFe2O4-Pb(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O3 particulate and layered composites

► Bulk ceramic composites and tape cast laminates based on CoFe2O4-Pb(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O3. ► Hysteresis loops typical of a mixture of hard magnetic material-paramagnet mixture. ► Bifurcation of ZFC-FC magnetizations for both composites implies spin-glass behavior. ► Magnetoelectric voltage coefficient for layered composites exceeds 200 mV/(cm Oe).► ME coefficient of laminates almost three times higher than that of bulk ceramics.
