Fast fabrication of epoxy-functionalized magnetic polymer core-shell microspheres using glycidyl methacrylate as monomer via photo-initiated miniemulsion polymerization

► Epoxy-functionalized magnetic polymer microspheres were fast and easily prepared. ► GMA was used as a single monomer in the photo-initiated miniemulsion polymerization. ► These microspheres can be synthesized by a 10 min UV irradiation. ► The magnetic content and responsiveness of these microspheres are high.
