Magnetic and dielectric properties of alkaline earth Ca2+ and Ba2+ ions co-doped BiFeO3 nanoparticles

► Ca2+ and Ba2+ ions co-doped BiFeO3 nanoparticles were prepared using a sol-gel method. ► The magnetic properties of the nanoparticles are greatly improved. ► The Neel temperature (TN) of the nanoparticles is greatly increased. ► Doped ions and crystal structure affect the dielectric properties of the nanoparticles.
