Influence of domain wall density on interlayer coupling in CoFe/Au/Co/Au multilayers

► CoFe/Au/Co/Au multilayers show easy plane and out-of-plane magnetic anisotropy. ► Magnetostatic coupling caused by domain walls (DWs) influences magnetoresistance. ► The stable resistance in a strong coupling regime is explained. ► Minor magnetoresistance loops corresponding to different DW densities are discussed. ► Simulations show that the coupling depends on the DW density.
