Coercivity enhancement of Nd−Fe−B thin film magnets by Dy buffer and capping layers

► The coercivity of Nd-Fe-B thin film was enhanced without sacrifices of (BH)max. ► By measuring the spin reorientation temperature, the Dy occupation was clarified. ► Detailed microstructures were analyzed by means of TEM observations.
