Half-metallicity in Fe-based Heusler alloys Fe2TiZ (ZÂ =Â Ga, Ge, As, In, Sn and Sb)

► The electronic structure of Fe-based Heusler alloys Fe2TiZ (Z = Ga, Ge, As, In, Sn and Sb) has been studied systemically. ► Two new Fe-based half-metals Fe2TiAs and Fe2TiSb have been reported. ► The half-metallicity of Fe2TiSb is stable under lattice distortion, which is attractive in practical applications.
