Influence of composition of carbonyl iron particles on dynamic mechanical properties of magnetorheological elastomers

► MRE samples were set by carbonyl iron particles with elements at ease based on silicon rubber under an outer magnetic field. ► The microstructure and dynamic mechanical properties were investigated and discussed. ► The results show that carbon content of CIP has a greater impact on dynamic mechanical properties of MRE.
