Synthesis and characterization of nanostructured strontium hexaferrite thin films by the sol-gel method

► Preparing of strontium hexaferrite thin film by sol-gel spin coating. ► The films prepared from the solutions with different Fe/Sr=8-12. ► The film with Fe/Sr=10 has the lowest calcination temperature, 800 °c. ► The film with Fe/Sr=10 has simultaneously maximum saturation magnetization and coercivity.
