The effect of multi-step milling and annealing treatments on microstructure and magnetic properties of nanostructured Fe-Si powders

►The microstrains of MA and MAMA alloys are close to that of the as-received powders. ►The mean particle size is affected by the accumulative milling time. ►Minimum crystallite size of series 2 and 4 is found to b larger than in series1 and 3. ►The HC values of series 2 and 4 are approximately independent of milling time. ►The mean particle size is independent of the annealing process at 500 °C for 1 h.
