Some characteristic behavior of mixed spin-1/2 and spin-1 Ising nano-tube

► In this study a cylindrical Ising nano-tube is investigated by using the effective field theory. ► The effects of the crystal field coupling at the surface shell are examined. ► Magnetizations, susceptibility, internal energy, susceptibility and phase diagrams are calculated. ► Tricritical and critical points are found on the phase diagram.
