Surface microstructure and magnetic behavior in FeSiB amorphous ribbons from magneto-optical Kerr effect

► Amorphous FeSiB samples exhibit an existence of short-ordered FeSi and FeB clusters. ► Cluster sizes are lower than 2 nm. ► For higher Si concentrations clusters are transformed into the nanocrystals.
