Theory of magnetization of p-type Sn1−xGdxTe: Contributions from local moments, lattice diamagnetism and carriers

► Local moment contributions include single-spin, paired spins and triads. ► Single spin contribution is found to be dominant, but other help become main at higher of concentration magnetic impurity. ► Diamagnetic and carrier contributions have their intrinsic importance, albeit their contributions are small. ► Results are compared with experimental results wherever available and the agreement in most cases is reasonable.
