Effects of Zr-substitution on microstructure and properties of YCaVIG ferrites

► We prepared Zrx:YCaVIG ferrites by a traditional oxide process. ► The addition of ZrO2 can lower the sintering temperature. ► The electromagnetic properties can be improved with proper Zr4+ content. ► The Zrx:YCaVIG ferrite with x=0.3 shows the optimum electromagnetic properties.
