Dynamic magnetic hysteresis behavior and dynamic phase transition in the spin-1 Blume-Capel model

► Kinetic spin-1 Blume-Capel model is studied using the effective-field theory. ► We investigated the dynamic magnetic hysteresis behavior. ► Dynamic magnetization, hysteresis loop area and correlation are investigated. ► System exhibits tricritical, zero-temperature, triple and multicritical points. ► We present the dynamic phase diagrams and compare the results of the EFT with MFA.
