Influence of layer thickness on the structure and the magnetic properties of Co/Pd epitaxial multilayer films

► Epitaxial Co/Pd multilayer films are prepared on Pd(111)fcc underlayers. ► Lattice strain in Co layer and CoPd-alloy formation are noted around the interface. ► Magnetic property dependence on layer thickness is reported.
