Atomic magnetometer based on a double-dark-state system

► A scheme based on time-domain interferometry with a double-dark-state system is proposed for atomic magnetometer. ► We show that the occupation difference of the two dark states varies sensitively with magnetic fields and measurement time. ► The sensitivity of the magnetometer is mainly limited by the quantum projection noise.
