Dynamical behavior of loop solutions for the K(2,2) equation

► The traveling wave solutions in the case of degenerate singular points are discussed. ► Periodic loop solutions are found for the fist time for the K(2,2) equation (1)-(3). ► The asymptotic behavior of the loop-soliton solution and periodic loop solution is studied.
