Effects of oxygen-containing defect complex on the electronic structures and transport properties of single-walled carbon nanotubes

► The complex of intrinsic defect and oxygen molecule on (10,0) SWNT is studied. ► The localized states inducted by mono- or di-vacancy are delocalized by complex. ► The states corresponding to Stone-Wales defect are strengthened. ► The transmission gap of (10,0) SWNT is insensitive to the complex.
