Fermions in anisotropic harmonic trap

► We study the energy spectra of fermions confined in an anisotropic harmonic trap. ► The specific heat and the Drude weight of the system have been investigated. ► Approximate analytical expressions for the above quantities are derived. ► A good agreement between the exact and approximate analytical results is obtained.
