Self-intersecting Regge trajectories in multi-channel scattering

► Direct method for calculating Regge poles for few-channel systems is proposed. ► The method is applied to two coupled Thomas-Fermi potentials. ► Non-adiabatic effects are shown to lead to self-intersection of Regge trajectories. ► The accuracy of the method is tested on integral cross section calculations.
