Comparative study of the magnetism of SrTcO3 and Ca(Sr)MnO3

► We comparatively studied the Néel temperature of SrTcO3 and SrMnO3. ► The magnetic exchange parameters of SrTcO3 are much larger than those of SrMnO3. ► The striking high Néel temperature of SrTcO3 are explained by the strong Tc(4d)-O(2p) hybridizations.
