Exact diagonalization study of 2D Hubbard model on honeycomb lattice: Semi-metal to insulator transition

► I studied 2-dimensional Hubbard model on the honeycomb lattice. ► I used dynamical mean field theory for analysis of phase transition. ► The exact diagonalization method at zero temperature is used in this work. ► By increasing of the interaction the renormalized Fermi velocity factor decrease. ► The phase transition is the second order and critical on-site interaction is U∼11.25.
